The top browser displays the list of 100 most recent headlines.  When you click on a headline, the full story will appear in the bottom browser.

"Alert On News" option lets Stock Watch Pro™ constantly monitor news headlines and issue an alert if new headline(s) have appeared.  To accomplish this, the headlines are constantly refreshed in the top browser, with the time interval specified in Preferences.
