Formula Wizard is a powerful tool that allows you to build formulas using close to 100 built-in fields (e.g. Last, Bid, Ask, Volume, Float, %Change) and technical indicators (e.g. Bollinger Bands, Moving Average, RSI, etc.) that can be combined with the following operators: +, -, *, /, ^, %, <, >, =, <>, <=, >=, (, ), AND, OR. These formulas can be used to create custom and color QuoteSheet columns, alerts, market screeners, custom chart studies and color bars, trading systems, etc. No programming skills necessary - wizard does the job for you! Extensive Formula Library will help you get started. Examples:

Alert Wizard enables you to create alerts beyond the conventional price/volume conditions using Formula Wizard. By combining the wide array of technical indicators and built-in fields into formula alerts, you can receive instant Buy/Sell signals on breakouts, reversals...virtually any market event! Receive alerts anywhere, by any means you wish: visual (popup message, flashing taskbar indicator), audible (sound, symbol announcement), message (e-mail, pager, cellular phone). Specify an order during alert setup and have it automatically sent to your broker when alert is triggered! Examples:

Screener is a one-of-a-kind tool that scans markets for profitable opportunities in real-time. Using powerful features of our Formula Wizard, you can specify any kind of criterion that screener will search for in the markets. The screener can be used to scan sectors, Hot Lists, symbol lists, exchanges, etc. It will continuously search based on given criteria at specified interval and display only those symbols satisfying the condition. Examples:
14 Day RSI below 30 or above 70
RSI[RSI,14,D] < 30 | RSI[RSI,14,D] > 70

In addition to predefined columns, you can create Custom Columns, Color Columns, and Alert Columns in Level I window using the capabilities of Formula Wizard. Go beyond the traditional fields with Custom Columns -- define any formula and watch its value get updated in real-time for any number of instruments. Setup a Color Column with color rules and formula to visualize the trend with color bars right in the QuoteSheet. Define an Alert Column with custom formula, text, color rules, and notification to get alerted on any signal. Sort the instrument list by any column, color pattern, or signal to facilitate stock screening. Be a step ahead of other traders! Examples:

BackTesting window allows to define, test, and optimize trading strategies on historical data. Test multiple stocks with multiple strategies at once and pick the most profitable stock/strategy combination by sorting results on P/L%, # of Winning/Losing Trades! You can even replay historical intra-day data to see exact buy/sell signals as you would get in real-time. Test the strategy before you trade it! Examples:

Unsure in which direction the market is heading? Market Statistics will point you the right way. It is a unique market breadth indicator useful in determining the direction of the entire market. The statistics are calculated on all stocks for each exchange every ten seconds. Examples include NASDAQ Advancing/Declining, NASDAQ Buying Pressure Index, NYSE Percent At Today's High/Low, and many more.

Our Level II window brings you to the next level of trading. Besides the conventional Market Maker display (Level II quotes from all market makers) and Bid/Ask Size display (buying & selling pressure with size at each price) Stock Watch Pro™ features Market Maker Action Log. Whenever market maker increases/decreases bid/ask and/or bid/ask size an entry appears in Action Log. Actions favorable to longs are colored in green while actions favorable to shorts are colored in red. Market Maker Action Log entry contains Bid x Ask size, Bid x Ask, Action, and Time with a plus/minus sign next to the changed value. Never second-guess market maker's actions, always know what the market maker is up to!

Time & Sales window allows you to view every single trade, bid/ask, and correction message for a specific stock in real-time as the market is trading or you can look back at any point in the history. Each entry is colored so that you can quickly spot trades at High/Low, at or below Bid, and at or above Ask. You can filter the display so that it shows only trades and/or bids and/or asks and/or volume messages. In addition you can filter trades meeting certain criteria, such as trade size, price range, and exchange.

Bar Table window reports the summary of market data for a specific stock in real-time at specified intervals of time. For example, you can see trade Volume, High/Low, Open, and Close prices for every 5-minute interval. Bar Table provides a very convenient way to analyze market data.

News Alerts send instant notifications whenever a new headline appears for a given stock -- you'll never miss any new development on your favorite stock! The list of recent headlines is continuously refreshed so that you have the latest news at your fingertips.

Direct Access Trading allows you to trade with your favorite broker directly from Stock Watch Pro window. API enables developers to process real-time alerts and use SWP as a front-end for their back-end execution applications. Double-click on Bid/Ask column in QuoteSheet to send a sell/buy order. Double-click within Bid/Ask column in Level II window to have your order sent to a specific Market Maker. Specify an order during alert setup and have it automatically sent to your broker when alert is triggered!

Option Chains feature enables you to populate Level I window with all the options for an underlying symbol. You can specify the month, year, strike price range, and whether to list puts, calls or both.

Portfolio Manager allows you to keep track of multiple portfolios of instruments. For each symbol in a portfolio you can specify Number of Shares, Base Price, Side (Long/Short), Transaction Fee, Position Date, Contract Multiplier, Comments, and adjust for splits. Watch your P&L, %Return, and other totals get updated in real-time!

Workspaces provide a very convenient way to organize your work in the markets. A workspace is a saved layout of windows in Stock Watch Pro™. It remembers where each window is located and what settings each window has. Multi-color Sym/Inv buttons allow to customize synchronization between workspace components on symbol and/or interval.
